This is my Entry for the 
Contest: 25th Anniversary
100% on Adobe Illustrator CS5
For me, this picture represents very well the 25 years and the progress made by the Saga and the character Samus Aran. Mother Brain is the First big boss in the first videogame Metroid (1986). The Varia suit design is a mix between the Prime trilogy and Other M.
I designed it as a platform 2D game.
Personally, Metroid (Super Metroid exactly) was the very first game I played. So it's a long love affair between me and this saga and I pay tribute with my many fanarts.
I hope you like it.
Now, I wait impatiently the next Metroid HD on Wii U.

many fan belive is samus who blow the planet Zebes but is mother brain by try to take down samus with her! you know the old cliche when the evil lose and active the self destruct systems to kill the heroes! but no the fan belive is Samus a do it, you know to be more cool in thier mind but is not true!
